So i’ve had a little time to tinker with Apple’s new Mountain Lion Developer Preview 1, and so far I’m liking it. I wanted to run it in a Virtual Machine though, so that I didn’t risk losing what I had with my Lion installation.
Regular visitors to the site will be familiar with the recent post I made about running Lion in a Virtual Machine. Recent news suggests that Apple are changing their EULA for the final release of Lion so that users can run virtual copies of the OS if they wish.
I came across this rather cool guide on how to install the Lion Developer Preview on to a VMWare Fusion image instead of creating an additional boot partition or overwriting your current OS. Great for testing non-destructively!
