So I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my iPhone 5 to the first Beta of iOS 7. Overall Im very impressed by the fluidness of the system, the graphical nuances, and the surprising stability of the first release. Although I do have a few gripes.
I have put together a video demonstrating how to enable PostgreSQL in Mountain Lion Server 10.8, and then how to connect to it using an application based management tool (such as pgAdmin3).
I’ve now had the chance to take a brief look at the Mountain Lion (10.8) release of OS X Server – a few things do appear to have changed, and I’ll go in to more detail about some of the things I have noticed so far from my first impressions.
I have written two previous articles on how to configure Lion Server’s built in database solution, PostgreSQL. In this video, I’ll show you how to quickly and simply get Postgres up and running.
